For those who like sci-fi, my books in the “Chronicles of the Gods” series gave you that. Professional reviewers used the word “epic” to describe it. BUT if you actually read it, you might use the words “profoundly spiritual”. I had more than one who used those words exactly or a version similar. “Unexpected” was used also.

I’ve gone to two book fairs and have been asked “how” I wrote it. Did I have an outline? No. I had ideas and I just started writing. I paused, I waited, then I got more ideas. I didn’t get impatient. I let it “come”, and it came. It came from inside of ME. No machine and software, it came from a 65 year old man and HIS experiences. It came from a man was always overlooked, seldom listened to. And guess what? That overlooked man, who at 13 months old was left alone in crushing pain, in the hospital after a surgery to fix a terrible birth defect, gave us something that was “his”. Something that was profound and beautiful. He wasn’t beautiful, he wasn’t “tall”, he didn’t stand out in anyway, he was never “considered”, he was never given “his chance”, but he gave the world something unexpected, something “profound”, a “third explanation”, based on pieces of two well known “worldviews”, and an experience he had. IF people read it, and don’t give up, and don’t yield to sibling jealousy, or petty religious dogma, or any other hindrances that hold them back, they may actually get a glimpse into the REAL creation story, and it is far, far, more beautiful than the silly cartoon like stories we got from religion, or from the equally dogmatic storyline of hard science, because, at it’s heart is a NEW story, the story of US doing the creating-now, in the far distant past, and in the yet to be created future. WE, ordinary people like us did it, not a hippy dude in robes and sandals, nor cosmic “random chance”. Sure, the explanation has elements of both of those worldviews. Put together it really might explain the truth of these “unknowable things”. Give it a chance. Don’t be like those who are around me, who are jealous, stop you from truly thinking! At the beginning of book one, I wrote something that very few people read, and fewer still think about, and even fewer still “get”. Will you?:

“It was always our mistake, perhaps our biggest one, to assume the realms of knowledge would remain forever separate from what we considered ‘unknowable’.”
